On Thursday, Troop 504 elected two new youth leaders to guide the troop for the upcoming term. Life Scout Vijith Koneru has succeeded Nikhil Yalavarthy as Senior Patrol Leader, taking on the responsibility of leading troop meetings, planning activities, and representing the Scouts. Star Scout Daniel Campiglia was elected Assistant Senior Patrol Leader and will work closely with the SPL to support the PLC and ensure the troop runs smoothly.

The PLC and members of Troop 504 congratulate both Vijith and Daniel on their new positions and look forward to the meetings, outings, and events planned for the months ahead. The troop also extends sincere thanks to Nikhil Yalavarthy for his leadership and dedication as Senior Patrol Leader, helping guide the troop through a period of transition and continued growth.

SPL Vijith Koneru shared, “Welcome, Scouts and Parents. My name is Vijith and I’m the Senior Patrol Leader of Troop 504. While Scouting may seem to be only about camping and outdoor skills, there is more to it. You will learn leadership, teamwork, and service skills, but also how to become a better version of yourself. So to new and old scouts, let’s make this year one of adventure, growth, and fun, and welcome to Troop 504.”

ASPL Daniel Campiglia shares, “Hello Troop 504! I am really excited to work with our new SPL and PLC as we head into the next few months. We have a lot of great ideas, exciting plans, and opportunities ahead, and I am looking forward to helping our troop grow, stay active, and have a ton of fun along the way. Lets make this a good year!”

With these higher level leadership changes, some lower level PLC positions will be moved around as well in the coming weeks. The troop looks forward to see what the new leadership has planned for the coming weeks and months.
